Saturday 19th September – Drive in Movie Night 6.30pm
The Nelson VCC Club are organizing a Drive in Movie Night (The Upside) at their site which is at the Speedway, Lower Queen Street entrance and have invited our members if you would like to join them.
Movie Starts at 7pm Sharp and is $5.00 per person.
There is Refreshments/Supper.
Bring the kids or grand kids, warm clothes and a rug and enjoy a great evening.
Low rag tops to get front row parking as much as possible.
Numbers are required for catering purposes so please ring Rob 5475120 for numbers attending.
20th September – Land Rover Collection at Richard Peterson’s property Leslies Road Okaramio.
Bring your own chairs and picnic lunch to have at noon in the grounds at the display and go through the
museum at your own leisure.
Entry to Museum is $10.00 per person

Paschendale Train Trip NOW CANCELLED due to survey INSTEAD
8th November – NELSON GARDEN TOUR
Meet at 10 am at NMIT RICHMOND CAMPUS to be given your directions to the first of 3 interesting gardens to visit around Richmond and Stoke. Lunch is either DIY or meet at McCashins newly opened restaurant at Seifeids Winery on the Rabbit Island Road, Appleby highway corner, from 12.00, for a DIY lunch of your choice. The afternoon is an opportunity to continue the garden visits until 3.30 pm when it’s time to drive to Mapua Wharf for refreshments before heading for home. This will also be an opportunity to explore what some of our committee have hidden away
in their garages.
